Allu Arjun's Dubbed Hindi Version of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' To Release In Theaters

Mumbai, January 17 - The historic success of "Pushpa - The Rise" in the dubbed Hindi version has proved Telugu Superstar Allu Arjun's dominance in North India. The action thriller directed by Sukumar, released in December last year and went on to earn over Rs. 85 crores in Hindi version, and still going strong at the box office.

"Pushpa - The Rise" was Allu Arjun's maiden Pan-India film and now, the Telugu makers are keen to explore more opportunities in the Hindi market with Icon Star's films. Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms in association with AA Films is all set to release the dubbed Hindi version of Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in theaters on January 26, 2022.



"Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" was Allu Arjun's biggest grosser before "Pushpa" and received critical acclaim from all-around. Considering the huge demand for the film among the Hindi-speaking audiences, the makers are set to release the film in theaters. Interestingly, it was recently reported that the makers of "Shehzada", which is the Hindi remake of "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" had reportedly paid Rs. 8 crores to Goldmines to not release the Hindi version.

"Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" is an action drama film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Produced by Geetha Arts, and Haarika & Hassine Creations, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, alongside Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, and Nivetha Pethuraj. Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Navdeep, Sunil, Sachin Khedekar, Harsha Vardhan, and Rajendra Prasad in key roles.

At the box office, "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" has already earned Rs. 269 crores worldwide. It was the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2020.
