Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise Sets The North Single Screens On Fire

Mumbai, Dec 19, 2021: The Mega release Pushpa: The Rise had emerged as The biggest opener for any Indian film in 2021 and still breaking the Box office records. The film has found a huge appreciation in its local markets. The Allu Arjun fronted Pushpa defeated Vakeel Saab's opening day gross to emerge as the Number 1 opener of this year.

The film was also released in the Hindi version for the north audience as the makers wanted to achieve the pan-India business for this film but the promotions and the release strategy was weak but due to the appreciation of the film and good-enough popularity of Allu Arjun, Pushpa got a decent first-day figure of over 3cr net.



The opening day numbers of Pushpa were more than the opening day numbers of previous south films of the same stature released in North India 'KGF' and that's a big achievement for the film as Pushpa numbers are coming in post-pandemic box office days.

The mass-dominated centers of North belts have seen huge footfalls for the film and they held pretty well for 2nd day as well with strong collections across the single screens. Pushpa will easily collect 10 Cr plus in the first weekend which will be an excellent number considering the fact that it's coming without much noise in terms of promotions and after the pandemic.
