Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rise' Gets 'U/A' Certificate; Theatrical Run Time Revealed

Hyderabad, December 10 - Allu Arjun-fronted "Pushpa - The Rise" is just a week away from taking over worldwide theaters. The much-anticipated action thriller is receiving a rave response over the trailer, which was released on December 6 in multiple languages.

As this Sukumar-directed is nearing its release, the makers have completed the censor formalities and it gets a 'U/A' certificate as it contains moderate to strong violence. Meanwhile, it is one of the biggest movies for the Telugu superstar as far as its length is concerned.



The mega-budgeted first of the two-part film's theatrical run time is 2 hours 59 minutes long. The fans won't mind though since it is high on action and thrill. It will also have an item number featuring sizzling Samantha Ruth Prabhu for the first time.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media, "Pushpa - The Rise" features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead alongside Fahadh Faasil (in his Telugu debut), Sunil Varma, Dhananjay, Anasuya Bharadwaj, among others in key roles. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively.

Based on the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, the film is scheduled to release on 17 December 2021 in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
