Amitabh Bachchan's De-Aged Look In Kalki 2898 AD Impresses Fans

Hyderabad, April 22 - On April 21, the makers of the upcoming epic sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD unveiled the first look glimpse of legendary Amitabh Bachchan's character where he is playing the role of the Ashwatthama, the immortal son of Guru Dronacharya from Mahabharata.

The glimpse of Big B's character revealed his de-age look of him which is a topic of discussion on social media. De-aging is a visual effects technique used to make an actor or actress look younger, especially for flashback scenes.



De-ageing technology hasn't been used much in Indian films and hence, the output is impressing the fans who are applauding the vision of director Nag Ashwin. Have a look at some of the reactions to the teaser of Big B's role in the film.

Kalki 2898 AD is produced by C. Aswani Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Inspired by Hindu history, Kalki is set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2898 AD. It stars Prabhas in the lead role alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.

The movie is expected to be released in June this year.
