'Animal' Set To Be The Longest Film of Ranbir Kapoor
Mumbai, November 14 - Action thriller Animal is set to be the longest film of actor Ranbir Kapoor with a theatrical runtime of over 3 hours. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie has been one of the most hugely-awaited films of the year across the country.
The film marks Ranbir Kapoor and director Vanga's maiden collaboration and this massively talented combo is exciting the audiences. Over the last couple of weeks, the rumours have been making rounds that the runtime of "Animal" is about 3 hours and 30 minutes which has been denied by the trusted portals.
Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have locked the official theatrical runtime and it is just about 3 hours long. It makes "Animal" the longest film of Ranbir, beating Raajneeti which was 170 minutes long. For Sandeep Reddy Vanga, "Animal" is tied with "Arjun Reddy" which was 3 hours and 2 minutes long.
Produced by T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine1 Studios, "Animal" revolves around a troubled father-son bond against the backdrop of extreme bloodshed in the underworld which causes the son to become a vicious psychopath.
The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor in the leading role alongside Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, and Bobby Deol while Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, and Suresh Oberoi, among others, feature in supporting roles. It is scheduled to be released on December 1st in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
