Anirudh Reunites With Superstar Shah Rukh Khan For 'King'; Shooting Details Revealed

Mumbai, May 16 - In 2023, music composer Anirudh collaborated with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for the action thriller Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar. The movie was a huge box office success and Anirudh's BGM got high praise among the mass audiences.

According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, Anirudh is set to reunite with SRK for his next film titled King. To be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, King will mark SRK's daughter Suhana Khan's big-screen debut.



"King is a one of its kind action thriller, that will introduce a new flavour of action to the audience. Shah Rukh Khan, Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh understand the importance of BGM for a film in this space and have roped in the best in business – Anirudh", says the report.

King is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix. The pre-production is happening in full swing and the makers are aiming to take the movie on floors by August this year. The movie is likely to be announced with a proper video for which Anirudh is working on BGM.

As reported earlier, Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the role of a don in the movie. Initially, he was supposed to play the extended cameo but now will be the main lead with Suhana Khan as his protege. It is a fast-paced action thriller chronicling the journey of mentor and disciple, testing their survival skills against all the odds.
