Arshad Warsi Joins The Cast of Bachchan Pandey Led By Akshay Kumar

Arshad Warsi is all set to share screen space with superstar Akshay Kumar for the very first time. The Golmaal star has been roped in for Akshay starrer Bachchan Pandey which will go on floors in January 2021 in Jaisalmer and will continue till March 2021.

Arshad Warsi will play Akshay's friend in the action-comedy which will see Akshay in a gangster avatar. Recently, Kriti Sanon was brought on board to play the leading lady. She will portray the role of a journalist who wishes to be a director.



The movie will be directed by Farhad Samji while Sajid Nadiadwala will produce it under his production banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Apart from Kriti Sanon, one more actress will be signed soon.

Talking about Arshad Warsi's inclusion, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the makers of 'Bachchan Pandey' wanted someone who could match Akshay's comic timing and they found him in none other than Arshad Warsi. His character will reportedly have multiple shades with a special look.
