Ayan Mukerji Reveals He Has Started Working On 'Brahmastra Part 2: Dev'
Mumbai, September 19 - Director Ayan Mukerji is riding high on the box office success of his mega movie Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which has crossed the 350 crores mark worldwide. Amid the excitement for the second part, Brahmastra Part Two: Dev, Ayan has confirmed that he has started working on it.
The talented filmmaker took to Instagram to thank the audience for showering love on the movie and said that its success has made him jump on the second part early than he had thought. "I didn't think I would be ready to get back to work as soon as this first baby was delivered, but the Energy from our Audiences has given me the Energy to jump straight back into it", he said.
The movie got mixed responses and Ayan said that he will make sure that the team is absorbing and learning deeply from all the feedback they have received. "All the Audience Feedback we have received (good, and not so good) - all of which we are absorbing and learning deeply from!! All the AMAZING Fan Theories out there (some of which we're definitely going to use in our Future!)", he said.
Meanwhile, "Brahmastra" has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2022. It outscored "The Kashmir Files" which grossed 341 crores worldwide. Produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios, the movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni along with Shah Rukh Khan in key roles.
