Blockbuster Horror Comedy 'Stree' Releases In Japan On September 14
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer blockbuster movie Stree has released in Japan today on September 14. After emerging a massive success worldwide, the horror-comedy becomes the latest movie to release overseason post coronavirus lockdown.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the plot of the movie is based on the Karnataka urban legend known as Nale Ba (Come Tomorrow), about a spirit who knocks on people's doors at night and took them with her.
Stree was released worldwide on 31st August 2018, and upon release, the film set the box office on fire. Made with 30 crores budget, the movie grossed INR 182 crores worldwide. It alone earned approx. INR 130 crores net in India.
Apart from Shraddha and Rajkummar, the movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in the key roles. It was produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj & D.K. under the banners of Maddock Films, and D2R Films.
