Box Office Projection for Pushpa and Spider-Man: No Way Home (India)

Hyderabad, Dec 9, 2021: One month ago, there was a clash between two big movies, Sooryavanshi, and Eternals in India. In that clash, Sooryavanshi got better screens and better results from Eternals at the Indian box office.

Now again there is a clash between an Indian movie and a Hollywood movie. Although, the clash has been averted by one day but that will be not enough as screen space need to be shared between these movies because both films will release in multiple languages.



Spider-Man: No Way Home (16th Dec) will release a day earlier than Pushpa (17th Dec) and both films will set the box office on fire from the first day itself as these movies are being one of the most awaited in 2021.

Spider-Man is expected to earn more than 25 Cr gross on its first day due to its immense craze in the audience. This Marvel movie's lifetime gross is expected to cross 200 Cr gross in India.

Now let's talk about the much-hyped movie, Pushpa: The Rise which will release a day after Spider-Man. As big Tollywood movies always take the grand opening, this one will be the same and it is expected to earn more than 55 Cr gross on its first day it's from India only. This All Arjun movie's lifetime Indian gross is expected to cross 250 Cr if receives positive feedback.



Directed by Jon Watts, "No Way Home" stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans, among others.

Pushpa: The Rise is directed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the production banners of Mythri Movie Makers, and Muttamsetty Media.

Pushpa stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and Vennela Kishore in key roles.
