Box Office: 'Sanam Teri Kasam' And 'Interstellar' First Week (7 Days) Collection
Mumbai, February 14 - Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane's romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasanm has completed a week of its re-release run with blockbuster collections. In a drastic turn of events from the original run, the movie is proving to be a mega success at the box office.
On Thursday (day 7), Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru's directorial minted approximately 2.15 crores net collection, pushing the first week total to around 26.50+ crores net. This already makes it the second biggest re-release grosser at the Indian box office.
Sanam Teri Kasam has competition in the second week from Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava, however, the movie is expected to continue to do well among the youth and couples. It is likely to become the biggest re-release grosser in India at the end of the second weekend by beating last year's blockbuster Tumbbad (32 crores net).
Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan's epic sci-fi adventure Interstellar has completed its pre-scheduled short 7 days of run, grossing another approximately 2.60 crores on Thursday (7th day). The film has minted fantastic approximately 20.60+ crores gross in its latest re-release run, making it the biggest repeat Hollywood grosser in India.
