Box Office: 'Stree 2' Beats 'Saaho' To Become Shraddha Kapoor's Highest-Grossing Film Worldwide

Mumbai, August 24 - Maddock Films and Jio Studios' horror-comedy Stree 2 has outgrossed Pan India movie Saaho to become the highest-grossing film of actress Shraddha Kapoor at the worldwide box office. It took just 10 days to achieve the milestone.

Saaho, starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the leading roles, grossed approximately 451 crores at the worldwide box office, and now, Stree 2 has beaten this figure as I type this. It grossed approximately 441 crores in the first 9 days and today (10th day), Stree 2 is expected to gross 40+ crores worldwide which will take its total collection to 480+ crores.



Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 had already become the highest-grossing movie of Maddock Films along with director Kaushik and actor Rajkummar Rao. It will cross 500 crores gross collection by tomorrow, the second Sunday, and will become the first movie for the entire main team of Stree 2 to achieve the feat.

Stree 2 is the 5th movie in Maddock Supernatural Universe and is the sequel to 2018's blockbuster Stree which is the second highest-grossing film in this universe.
