Brahmastra Going To Be A Landmark Film In Indian Cinema: Nagarjuna Akkineni
Chennai, August 24 - Legendary actor Nagarjuna Akkineni is making his Hindi film comeback after almost 19 years with the upcoming fantasy adventure film Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. Scheduled to release on September 9 in multiple languages, Nagarjuna is playing the role of an artist who has the power of Nandi Astra.
Nagarjuna is companying the team of "Brahmastra" to promote the film across the country, and in this process, he along with Ranbir Kapoor and SS Rajamouli, who presents the Telugu version, promote the film in Chennai today where they interacted with the media.
During the Chennai press meet, Nagarjuna talked about the film's potential and also revealed more about his character. "I will have the most powerful Astra with me called the Nandi Astra and it has the power of 1000 bulls", he said.
The actor further said that "Brahmastra" is one of the best films ever made adding that "I strongly believe this film is going to be the landmark film in Indian cinema". SS Rajamouli also said that director Ayan Mukerji has created one of its kind visual spectacle with "Brahmastra" which has a great commercial value.
Produced by Dharma Productions in association with Star Studios, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy along with cameos of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is the international theatrical distributing partner of the film.
