Chennai remains the stronghold with 46.0 percent occupancy across 562 shows, showing particular strength in the evening and night shows which hovered around 54 to 56 percent. Coimbatore also put up a strong fight with nearly 40 percent occupancy. The Telugu version is holding its own in pockets like Vizag-Visakhapatnam, which saw a healthy 21.5 percent occupancy, outperforming even Hyderabad which sat at 16.0 percent for its 290 shows.
