Cody Rhodes Confirms He Has Signed A New Multi-Year Contract Extension With WWE

Cody Rhodes has signed a multi-year contract extension with WWE. The details of the deal aren't public, but it will keep him wrestling past his 40th birthday.

"I can tell you 40 is out of the question just because, not to give you scoop, it was widely reported, but I did sign a new contract with WWE," Cody Rhodes said in a new interview with Justin Walker.



Rhodes previously aimed to retire at 40, but this new contract changes his plans. He wants to avoid a drawn-out career finale like his father Dusty Rhodes experienced.

Balancing his career with his family life is important to Rhodes. With his daughter growing up, he wants to ensure he's present for her.

This extension keeps Rhodes with WWE for the foreseeable future. He's enjoyed success since returning in 2022, winning two Royal Rumbles and headlining WrestleMania for the second year in a row.
