Cricketer David Warner Makes Acting Debut With Nithiin's 'Robinhood'

Hyderabad, March 4 - Former Australian cricketer David Warner is all set for his acting debut with the upcoming Tollywood film Robinhood starring Nithiin with director Venky Kudumula. The action drama film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

David Warner, who was a part of the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad which won the tournament in 2016 under his captaincy, is a popular name in Telugu states. His love for Telugu films is not a secret as he has often expressed his love for Telugu by sharing Instagram reels and dancing to Telugu film songs.



A couple of months ago, a picture of David Warner from a movie set went viral and fans assumed that it was for Pushpa 2 - The Rule. While it was indeed from the movie set, it wasn't from Pushpa 2 as Mythri Movie Makers has confirmed that Warner is playing a role in Robinhood which is scheduled to hit the big screen on March 28.

The presence of the swashbuckling left-hander opener is expected to draw the attention of the moviegoers though it is not yet confirmed what kind of role Warner playing in Robinhood which has Sreeleela as the female lead.
