Deepika Padukone to play the female lead opposite Prabhas in the untitled Prabhas 21

It has been already confirmed that Mahanati director, Nag Ashwin will be collaborating with the Baahubali actor Prabhas in his untitled next called as Prabhas 21.

Now, on the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Films, the makers have confirmed that Deepika Padukone has been roped as a female lead and will be pairing with Prabhas for the first time.



Vyjayanthi Films took to its official Twitter handle and announced Deepika Padukone on board. "Deepika Padukone, welcome on board! Thrilled to have you be a part of this incredible adventure. #Prabhas @deepikapadukone @nagashwin7 #Prabhas21 #DeepikaPrabhas", the production house wrote.

The movie has already been creating quite the buzz among the fans ever since it was announced by the makers. It is said to be a sci-fi movie which will be produced by Vyjayanthi Films. It will be a trilingual film that will be made in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.



On the other hand, Prabhas is currently busy in his upcoming movie titled 'Radhe Shyam' of which, the first look was unveiled recently in which the actor is starring opposite Pooja Hegde. Radhe Shyam will be a multilingual movie directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi, and Pramod. It will release in 2021.

For Prabhas 21, the actor will be joining the director Nag Ashwin after wrapping up the shoot of Radhe Shyam. It is going to be another big project in Prabhas' stellar career. And with Deepika Padukone joining the cast, it is going to be a sure-shot blockbuster.
