Dhanush's 'Kubera' Release Date Locked

Hyderabad, February 27 - Tamil star Dhanush has teamed up with the national award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula for a trilingual film Kuberaa which also stars Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in prominent roles along with Jim Sarbh.

The film has been in production since 2023, and finally, the makers have announced the release date. On February 27, it was confirmed that Kuberaa would hit the big screen on June 20, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.



The movie is produced by Suniel Narang, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao of the accomplished production house Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Kuberaa is simultaneously shot in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

According to the unofficial premise, Kubera revolves around the pursuit of wealth and its consequences in which a beggar undergoes a dramatic transformation, exploring themes of greed, ambition, and moral dilemmas faced by the characters leading to a quest for redemption.
