Dharma Productions' Clarifies On The Rumours of 'Kill' Remake
Mumbai, July 16 - Producer Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has issued an official statement on the recent speculations about the remake rights of its action thriller Kill which is currently playing in theatres and doing decent business.
Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill was announced to be remade in Hollywood by John Wick director Chad Stahelski even before the film's official release in India on July 5. Since then, there have been rumours that it would be remade in other Indian languages.
Issuing the official statement on the same, Dharma Productions said that except for the English language remake, the Indian language versions have not been acquired by any parties yet, putting all the speculations to rest.

Kill was rated 'A' by CBFC for extreme violence and it is billed as the Indian version of the John Wick franchise. The movie received critical acclaim as well as a super positive audience reception. At the box office, it has grossed approximately 35 crores worldwide, including around 16.50 crores from international markets.
The movie is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment and stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, and Tanya Maniktala in key roles.
