'Dream Big Girls, Anything Can Happen', Priyanka Chopra Reacts To US Presidential Elections

While the world is reacting to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' victory as president and vice-president in the 2020 US Presidential elections, Bollywood star, Priyanka Chopra applauded the people of America for turning out in huge numbers to exercise their democratic rights.

Congratulating Biden on becoming 46th President of the USA, India's international icon also applauded Kamala Harris who has created history by becoming the first Black woman to enter the White House in either of the two top jobs.



"America spoke in record-breaking numbers and the verdict is in... EVERY VOTE counts. I applaud everyone who voted in what was such a powerful display of how a democracy should function. It was amazing to witness this election in the US", Priyanka wrote on Instagram.

"Congrats to the President-Elect @joebiden and Vice President-elect @kamalaharris, the first woman VP! Dream Big girls! Anything can happen!! 💙❤️🤍 #DemocracyRocks. Congratulations America", she added.

Joe Biden emerged as victories after CNN, NBC News, and CBS News called the race in Biden's favor over Donald Trump just before 11:30 am (1630 GMT) on Saturday (November 7) as an insurmountable lead in Pennsylvania took the 77-year-old over the top in the state-by-state count that decides the presidency.
