Capitalizing on Punk's heartbreaking announcement of a torn triceps and WrestleMania 40 absence, McIntyre unleashed a trollish meme on X (formerly Twitter), poking fun at Punk's misfortune.

During Raw, McIntyre had taken a verbal jab at Punk, claiming to have "prayed" for his injury and WrestleMania withdrawal. He then backed up his words with ruthless action, laying Punk out and ruthlessly stomping on his wounded arm.
