Drew McIntyre Vs Roman Reigns Set For WWE Clash At The Castle?
Since the announcement was made about WWE's first major stadium event in the United Kingdom (UK) since the 1992 SummerSlam, there were a lot of speculations that Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns would take the event as the headliner and now Drew McIntyre has challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal title at Clash at the Castle this September in Wales.
On tonight’s SmackDown, McIntyre was introduced by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. He promised that he will defeat Roman Reigns and win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle.
It will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, marking WWE's first major stadium event to take place in the United Kingdom (UK) since the 1992 SummerSlam and the company's first major event in general to take place in the UK since the 2003 Insurrextion.
The event's title is a reference to Cardiff Castle, which is situated near the Principality Stadium. WWE hasn't made any official announcement regarding this challenge yet.
