Dulquer Salmaan To Star In R Balki's Next Psychological Thriller

Mumbai, May 26, 2021: Mollywood heartthrob, Dulquer Salmaan is all set to be starring in director R Balki's next film which is a psychological thriller. It will be Dulquer's first film with the director who is known for helming movies like Paa, Cheeni Kum, and Padman.

The movie, which is yet to be titled, will also be the actor's third Bollywood film after Karwaan and The Zoya Factor. The reports of Balki's film with Salmaan had been making rounds on social media, however, there was no confirmation from either side.



Veteran cinematographer PC Sreeram, who is a long-time collaborator with Balki in all his films, including Cheeni Kum, Paa, Shamitabh, Pad Man, and Ki & Ka, confirmed that he will be collaborating again with Balki with Dulquer in the lead role.

"My next project with Balki will have Dulquer Salman. Its a psychological thriller. Eagerly waiting to start work. #RBalki @dulQuer", Sreeram tweeted.

Apart from Balki's film, Dulquer has multiple projects in the pipeline. He will be starring in Malayalam movies - Kurup and Salute along with the Tamil movie - Hey Sinamika. He also has a Telugu film - Yuddham Tho Rasina Prema Katha, which is currently being filmed.
