Emraan Hashmi's 'Harami' Among Indian Films To Premiere At Busan Film Festival 2020

Emraan Hashmi-starrer upcoming film "Harami" will have its world premiere at the 25th Busan International Film Festival 2020 in SouthKorea. Harami is one of the three Indian films which will be premiered at the festival which will run from 21 to 30 October.

Produced by Germ Collective, Endless Media, and Emraan Hashmi Films, Harami is an Indo-American drama production, co-written and directed by Shyam Madiraju. Apart from Emraan, the movie also stars Subrat Dutta, Aditya Kumar, Starr Liu, Diksha Nisha, and others.



Other Indian titles to premiere at the festival include Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's new film A'hr and Ananth Narayan Mahadevan's Bittersweet.

The synopsis of the film reads, "An orphan teenage pickpocket working the trains of Mumbai along with his gang, embarks on a life-altering journey when faced by the daughter of one of his victims who's committed suicide after being robbed".



Speaking about the film making it to the Busan film festival, Emraan said, "Kudos to Shyam and his Harami team for making it into the prestigious main competition section of the festival. It was a true passion project for all involved and I am looking forward to the day when we will be able to share the film with the Indian audience".

The Busan International Film Festival, Asia's biggest gathering of its kind, will be reduced to a fraction of its usual scale with several sections moved online because of the coronavirus pandemic, reports Firstpost.
