Gangubai Kathiawadi To Premiere At 72nd Berlin International Film Festival

Mumbai, Dec 15, 2021: One of the biggest directors of the Indian film industry Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming Magnum opus film starring Alia Bhatt in a titular character, is set to have its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival next year.

Regarded as one of the world’s largest public film festivals and an indispensable forum for the global film community, the film gala will be held from February 10 to February 20, 2022.



Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Gangubai Kathiawadi is a crime-drama, adapted from one of the chapters of noted author Hussain Zaidi's book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai.

Alia Bhatt will also be seen in the upcoming pan-India film helmed by Bahubali director SS Rajamouli's 'RRR'. Alia has some of the Biggest Indian films in her kitty which also includes Brahmastra.
