Along with Akshay Kumar, Good Newwz also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in the prominent roles. It is directed by Raj Mehta while Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cape of Good Films have produced the movie. The film is about two couples who are trying to have a baby through IVF.
Upon its release, Good Newwz garnered a lot of praise by the audiences and the critics. On the business front, It was one of the highest-grossing movies of the year 2019 with the worldwide collection of nearly INR 320 Crores.
On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starring Dream Girl is also set to entertain the movie lovers once again. The re-release of the film will further strengthen its remarkable run at the box office.
The film is a comedy-drama directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa while Ekta Kapoor has co-produced it under the banner Balaji Motion Pictures.
To bring back normalcy after the COVID-19 pandemic, the re-release of Good News and Dream Girl is the initial step towards that. However, both movies will have to go through some strict guidelines to ensure the safety of the people.
The re-release has been announced keeping in mind all the precautions for people going to theatres again during this hour of COVID-19, announced Zee Studios International, which releases the two films in Dubai.
FYI, when theaters were re-opened in Dubai on May 27, late Irrfan Khan's last movie Angrezi Medium become the first Indian movie to re-release in there. However, the movie found it difficult to bring the audiences to theaters as the footfalls remained very low.
