John Abraham's 'Vedaa' Locks New Release Date
Mumbai, June 7 - John Abraham-starrer action drama Vedaa release date has been postponed to Independence Day 2024. The movie is directed by Nikkhil Advani and it marks his second collaboration with Abraham as a director after Batla House.
Vedaa was supposed to be released on July 12, 2024, but the makers have now set an August 15 release. This means the movie will be clashing with the hugely-awaited Pan India movie, Pushpa 2 - The Rule, starring superstar Allu Arjun.
Reportedly inspired by true events, Vedaa depicts the bravery of one person challenging a draconian system in an uprising. It follows a young woman's fight for justice, guided by a man who becomes her ally. It stars John Abraham in the title role alongside Sharvari Wagh, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Abhishek Banerjee.
The movie is produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment.
