Jr. NTR's Character Details In YRF's 'War 2' Revealed

Mumbai, March 5 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is all set to mark his Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films' hugely-awaited spy action thriller War 2, co-starring Hrithik Rohan who reprises his role of RAW agent Kabir. The movie will be directed by Ayan Mukerji.

There has been a lot of chatter regarding NTR's character as rumours said he would be playing the role of an antagonist. Now, according to Pinkvilla, the massively talented actor will be seen playing the role of RAW agent and YRF has plans to spin off his character after War 2.



"After Salman Khan (Tiger), Hrithik Roshan (Kabir), and Shah Rukh Khan (Pathaan), NTR Jr. is the newest Indian Agent in the YRF Spy Universe. His character is unlike any other in the Spy Films made so far and both Aditya Chopra and Ayan are excited to explore a unique dynamic between Hrithik and NTR through War 2. The makers are aiming to surprise their audience with every aspect of War 2, as every character will have multiple shades", says the report.

While War 2 will mark Jr. NTR's Bollywood debut in a full-fledged role, the actor will also get a spin-off and will also be making cameo appearances in the future films of YRF's Spy Universe. As said before, the studio has big plans to make Spy Universe a true blue Pan India cinematic event by bringing actors across industries. YRF has a long-term deal with Jr. NTR.

War 2 is the 6th film in Spy Universe and it will be hitting worldwide theatres during Independence Day weekend 2025. The filming has already commenced but Hritik Roshan will join the shoot on March 7 while Jr. NTR will start his portion in April.
