KGF Chapter 2 Teaser Review: Yash Unleashes Hell To Keep His Promise

The most awaited teaser of KGF: Chapter 2 was released hours before the originally scheduled on January 8 on Yash's 35th birthday. A leaked video of the teaser forced the makers to take an early call and they decided to surprise fans before the excitement ends.

Well, the forced surprise was worth taking as the teaser of 2 minutes and 16 seconds long promises a blockbuster BIG SCREEN experience. It begins with the promise that Yash aka Rocky Bhai made to his dying mother - that he won't die in poverty.

In the KGF: Chapter 1, we saw that after Rocky's mother dies, how he learns that getting rich is directly connected with the depth of power one flaunt. And with a solo aim to reach the top where everything remains under his control, he spends all his childhood preparing to possess the power in terms of money, muscle, and politics.

His hunger for power leads him to the gold mines of Kolar (KGF) and he soon conquers the land after a blood bath. And now, in the sequel, Rocky Bhai will unleash the hell to protect the empire he built to satisfies his massive hunger for power.

In the teaser video, one can see how Yash single-handedly takes down the enemy camp with the help of his 'little friend', which is a lightweight machine gun. The teaser also gives us a glimpse of antagonist Adheera played by Sanjay Dutt along with powerful politician, Ramika Sen played by Raveena Tandon.

Director Prasanth Neel has done a tremendous job to keep the hype which is getting bigger and bigger around the movie ever since it was announced. The teaser is STUNNING and one can expect the second installment of KGF to break many box office records.



KGF Chapter 2 also stars Srinidhi Shetty who will reprise her role as Reena Desai from the first chapter along with Ananth Nag and others. Produced by Hombale Films, KGF 2 is expected to hit theatres this summer.
