Kamal Haasan Confirms 'Indian' Sequel To Release In Two Parts
Chennai, November 8 - Legendary Kamal Haasan reunite with director Shankar for the sequel to 1996's vigilante action film "Indian". The shoot of the movie is currently in progress for 2024 release, and as speculated, the movie will be released in two parts.
Over the last few months, it has been reported that director Shankar would split the "Indian" sequel into 2 parts as the story of the movie can't be told in one film. Now, Kamal Haasan has reportedly confirmed the same, according to Only Kollywood.
The legendary actor recently celebrated his birthday and during the event, the actor confirmed that his "Indian 2" will be released in two parts. It is said that the first part of the movie will be released in April/May while "Indian 3" will be released in November 2024.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, who was last seen in the mega-blockbuster "Vikram" last year, has multiple films in the pipeline. He reunites with Mani Ratnam for an action drama film "Thug Life" for which the shoot will commence soon. He also has Prabhas-fronted "Kalki 2898 AD" currently in production along with a film with director H. Vinoth, and "Vikram 2" with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
