Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' Censor Certificate Stalled Amid Threats To CBFC Members And Demand of Removing Key Incidents
Mumbai, August 30 - In the shocking turn of events, the censor certificate of Kangana Ranaut-fronted Emergency has been stalled amid threats to the members of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), claims Kangana.
Yesterday, it was reported that CBFC had passed the film with a U/A certificate. Kangana shared a video on social media claiming that while the film was cleared, the certificate had been stalled due to death threats to the CBFC members.
The actress also revealed that there is a lot of pressure on the makers to not include some historical incidents, such as the assassination of former PM Indira Gandhi, as well as the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
