Kangana Ranaut's 'Tejas' Delays To Summer 2023 Release
Mumbai, October 8 - The long-awaited drama film Tejas, starring Kangana Ranaut is set to be delayed further. The Sarvesh Mewara-directed movie was supposed to release last year before it was pushed to October 2022 release due to the covid-19 pandemic, and now, Kangana announced a new release plan for the movie.
On the occasion of Air force Day, Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to greeted Air Force warriors and announced that her much-awaited film will now be released in Summer 2023. Recently, it was reported that the movie might hit big screens in January 2023, but now, it has been postponed further to give it a proper theatrical release.
Kangana Ranaut is playing Indian Air Force pilot Tejas Gill in the movie that is produced by Ronnie Screwwala under the banner of RSVP Movies. The story of the film showcases landmark event in 2016 when the Indian Air Force became the country's first defence force to induct women into combat roles, the courageous journey of an Indian Air Force pilot.
As per the reports, the reason for the delaying the release dates is the long time taken in the post production work because of the heavy VFX shots. Meanwhile, the movie also stars Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, and Veenah Naair, among others in key roles.
