'Kanguva' Scores Record Post-Theatrical Streaming Deal For Suriya

Chennai, September 3 - One of the most-anticipated Pan Indian movies Kanguva has scored the record post-theatrical streaming deal for actor Suriya. The movie is directed by Siva and also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in prominent roles.

According to Forum Reelz, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of Kanguva for all languages. The streaming giant has paid a whopping 100 crores to grab the rights and this is the biggest streaming deal for Suriya.



Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva was supposed to hit the big screens on October 10 but has now been postponed to November 2024 in order to avert a clash with superstar Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan which is scheduled for Pan India release on Dussehra.

Kanguva is a story that travels 500 years from the 1700s to 2023 about a Hero who has to fulfil a mission left unfinished. Suriya plays the title role alongside Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debut. The official new release date is yet to be locked.
