Kannada Star Rakshit Shetty Reacts On People Discussing His Breakup With Rashmika Mandanna
Bengaluru, July 2 - Actress Rashmika Mandanna made her acting debut with the Kannada movie "Kirik Party" in 2016 and the movie went on to become a huge hit. It also starred Rakshit Shetty, who was already a well-known name in the Sandalwood film industry.
"Kirik Party" was the film that brought Shetty and Rashmika close and they started dating each other. In July 2017, they decided to make their relationship official and got engaged on 3 July 2017 in a private ceremony in Rashmika's hometown of Virajpet. However, their relationship couldn't last long as the couple mutually broke off their engagement in September 2018, citing compatibility issues.
It has been nearly 4 years since Shetty and Rashmika broke up with each other, however, their break-up is still being discussed by people on social media and other platforms, despite Shetty conveying that there is no bad air between both of them.
During a recent interaction with Koimoi, Rakshit shed light on the fact if the discussion about his past relationships bother him or not. "No, it doesn't bother me. I don't even go to the Internet and read that. To be frank, see there are crores of people out there and everybody has a perspective so I cannot expect everybody to love me, I can't expect everybody to hate me. I can't expect a single kind of emotion towards me from everyone. Everybody will think differently and look at me in a different way. When I have accepted that, there is no point in going on the Internet and seeing what are people talking about me".
Rakshit Shetty is currently enjoying the success of the adventure comedy-drama film "777 Charlie". The movie, showing the journey and bonding between a lonely factory worker and a stray labrador dog, has turned out one of the biggest success stories of the year. It has grossed over 90 crores so far at the worldwide box office, and also won high critical acclaim for the sincere performances and a heartwarming tale.
