Karthi's Much-Awaited 'Japan' Confirms Release Date
Chennai, May 25 - Tamil actor Karthi is riding high with back-to-back success with hardly putting any foot wrong at the box office. The actor has delivered five hits in the post-pandemic era where many other actors are struggling to score a single hit.
Karthi, who was recently seen in "Ponniyin Selvan - Part 2", is now gearing up for his next titled Japan and this is looking like another potential blockbuster for the actor. On the actor's 46th birthday today, the makers unveiled a first-look teaser, introducing Karthi's characters as Japan.
The quirkiness touch of the teaser shows Karthi in a never before seen role. The actor appears in a retro look as the teaser promises lots of action and dark comedy. The movie is directed by Raju Murugan and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
"Japan" marks the second collaboration between director Raju Murugan and Dream Warrior Pictures after "Joker". GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music for the movie which also stars Anu Emmanuel as the female lead alongside Sunil and others. It will be released on Diwali this year in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
