Kartik Aaryan Re-Confirms Release Date of Chandu Champion

Mumbai, May 4 - Kartik Aaryan has begun preparation for the biographical sports drama film Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan. The movie is about a man who faced one adversary after another with an undying spirit. His unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India's first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics.

On Saturday (May 4), Kartik shared a picture while dubbing for the trailer of Chandu Champion and with this, the actor re-confirmed the release of the movie which is June 14, 2024. It will be the first major Bollywood release since Eid this year.



Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Naidadwala Grandson Entertainment, Chandu Champion will be having some pressure to deliver at the box office. It will have a solo release which is a massive advantage for it at the box office. The movie features a credible cast along with a proven director and notable production house.

Chandu Champion is inspired by the life of Murlikant Petkar, a celebrated Indian athlete. Petkar is renowned for his accomplishments as a gold medalist at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and the 1972 Paralympics in Germany, where he brought honour to India.
