Mumbai, July 15 - Producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment has announced a new release date of the horror comedy film Phone Bhoot, starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter.
The Gurmmeet Singh-directed movie, which was earlier announced for October 7, 2022, release, will now be hitting worldwide theaters on November 4 in the same year. It will be clashing with Arjun Kapoor and Tabu's Kuttey at the box office. The reason behind pushing the release date of "Phone Bhoot" is unknown.



Excel Entertainment took to Twitter and announced the new release date with a new poster. Earlier, in the day, the makers unveiled the official motion poster of the film. "Ringing in with an update. #PhoneBhoot will now release on 4th November at cinemas near you", read the tweet.





"Phone Bhoot" also stars Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chadha, and Nidhi Bisht in supporting roles. It is Katrina's first movie since the biggest Bollywood grosser of 2021, "Sooryavanshi", in which she starred opposite Akshay Kumar. She will also be seen with Salman Khan in "Tiger 3". She also has Farhan Akhtar's "Jee Le Zaraa", also starring Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt, and "Merry Christmas" with Vijay Sethupathi in the pipeline.





On the other hand, Ishaan Khatter has "Pippa", co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli, scheduled to release on December 9 this year while Siddhanth Chaturvedi has Zoya Akhtar's "Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan" opposite Ananya and Adarsh Gourav.
