The project, which had earlier faced delays due to budget constraints, has now been revived with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali coming on board as producer.

According to a report by Variety India, the film will be directed by Jasmeet K. Reen, best known for directing the critically acclaimed film Darlings, starring Alia Bhatt. The makers are reportedly planning to begin shooting for the biopic later this year.
