Kiara Advani To Play Female Lead In Ranveer Singh-Led 'Don 3'?

Mumbai, August 9 - Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar delighted the fans by making the official announcement of the third installment of the action thriller franchise "Don". Ranveer Singh has been confirmed to be the next Don in this blockbuster franchise which was previously headlined by legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

The official announcement of "Don 3" was made today (August 9) with a teaser that introduces Ranveer Singh as the new generation Don. Now, according to Pinkvilla, the makers are already in search of the leading lady and have approached Kiara Advani for the same.



It is said that Farhan Akhtar narrated the basic plotline of Don 3 which the actress liked. Kiara is said to have given her verbal nod and is excited to be part of such a popular film franchise. The actress will reportedly have negative shades in "Don 3" which has been given a fresh makeover.

"Don 3" will go on floors around mid-2024 and it will have a grand worldwide release in 2025. Before this, Ranveer Singh will complete Sanjay Leela Bhansali's highly-awaited "Baiju Bawra", co-starring Alia Bhatt. Kiara, on the other hand, will wrap up "War 2" with Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR before moving to "Don 3".

Kiara, who is fresh from the box office success of "Satyaprem Ki Katha", is currently doing maverick director Shankar's "Game Changer" in which she has been paired opposite superstar Ram Charan. It is scheduled to release in April 2024.
