Liger Review: Here Is What Public Is Saying About Vijay Deverakonda-Starrer

Hyderabad, August 25 - The long-awaited sports action drama film, Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey in the leading roles has been released in theaters today. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, "Liger" was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, making VD's Hindi and Ananya Pandey's Telugu debut, respectively.

Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Puri Connects have produced the movie that features Vijay Deverakonda as the titular MMA fighter boxer. Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, and Vishu Reddy also star in pivotal roles. American boxer Mike Tyson plays an extended cameo, thus making his acting debut in Indian cinema.



The movie is getting mixed reviews with praise towards VD's act but criticizing Puri Jagan's writing and direction. Check out some of the early reactions to the movie.

VD tried his best and body transformation is great but his stammering is annoying. Heroine track is awful. Other than a few moments, Nothing else to mention.
