Mahesh Babu's Character Details From SS Rajamouli's Next Revealed

Hyderabad, April 12 - Maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli's next film with superstar Mahesh Babu is one of the most anticipated Indian movies, not just in India but also among international fans. Rajamouli's previous film RRR proved to be a game-changer for Indian cinema, and now, the international market is bigger than ever, especially for Rajamouli's film.

Rajamouli's film with Mahesh Babu is touted to be a globe-trotting jungle adventure film and if reports are to be believed, it will be another Rajamouli film inspired by a historical character. Though the movie will entirely be a work of fiction, Mahesh Babu's character is said to be inspired by Lord Hanuman from Ramayana.



According to Pinkvilla, "SS Rajamouli loves to take inspiration from Ramayana and Mahabharata. While the film is an African Jungle Adventure, Mahesh Babu's character will have traits similar to Lord Hanuman, who also has a history of fighting against all odds in the jungles. In fact, even the trajectory of the character will follow the route of Ramayana, but with a spin given in by SS Rajamouli".

Blockbuster "RRR" featured the characters inspired by Lord Rama from Ramayana and Bheem from Mahabharata. The upcoming film is currently in the writing stage and will go on floors by the end of this year and be extensively shot in Amazon Forest.

The upcoming movie will be produced by Shobu Yarlagadda under the banner of Arka Media Works who also produced Rajamouli's epic blockbuster "Baahubali" franchise. It is also revealed that either Disney or Sony will distribute the movie globally.
