Makers Provide Update On Akshay Kumar's 'Welcome To The Jungle' Amid Cancellation Rumours
Mumbai, August 25 - The third instalment of the Welcome has been in the news ever since it was announced due to various reasons. Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle features one of the biggest ensemble casts, led by superstar Akshay Kumar.
Recently, Jio Studios, which was supposed to bankroll the movie, deleted the announcement video of the film from its YouTube channel which led to speculations about its cancellation. As the rumours continue to spread like wildfire, the makers have provided a vital update on the same.
Putting rumours to rest, the makers have dropped an unseen picture from the shoot, featuring the entire star cast. It is said that the film has already finished its marathon schedule in Mumbai and Kashmir in August and will commence the international schedule in October this year.
Welcome 3 has already completed 70% of the total shooting and the remaining 30% will be finished in the next schedule. As announced originally, the movie will not be able to make it to the Christmas release and has been postponed to 2025.
Akshay Kumar leads the cast of the comic caper which also stars Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, and Sayaji Shinde in pivotal roles.
