Makers Re-Confirmed The Release Date Of Magnum Opus 'Adipurush' Amid Postponement Rumours

Mumbai, January 17 - The countdown begins for India's timeless epic, Adipurush! Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is one of the most anticipated Indian films. The Prabhas-fronted epic was supposed to release on January 11 this year, but the makers postponed the release to June 16, 2023, after its teaser received negative feedback for VFX.

Over the last few weeks, there have been rumors that "Adipurush" wouldn't be able to make its June release, but now, the makers have confirmed that the movie is indeed releasing on June 16 without any further delay, means "Adipurush" will be hitting theaters worldwide in 150 days.

"Adipurush" is based on epic Ramayan. Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama while Kriti Sanon plays Sita/Janaki and Saif Ali Khan essays Lankesh/Raavan. The movie is produced by T-Series and Retrophiles.
