Makers of Brahmastra Begins Promotion Months Before The Release Date
Vizag, May 31 - Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has devoted his more than 5 years to the making of the fantasy adventure film, Brahmāstra. The first of its kind feature film in Indian cinema, Brahmāstra is touted to be one of the biggest action-adventure based on mythology.
The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles along with Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The makers have high hopes for this movie and thus they are leaving no stone unturned to make it the biggest Indian film.
While the movie is scheduled to release on September 9, 2022, in multiple languages, the makers have already started the promotion of the film, showing intent to take it to the widest audience possible. On Tuesday, the makers held an event in Vizag city to meet and greet fans.
SS Rajamouli, who is known for his visually spectacular cinema, was present at the event along with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji. Rajamouli is on-board to present the movie in Telugu as the makers couldn't have asked for a better person than him to take the movie to the Telugu audience.

The makers already have big plans to promote "Brahmāstra" nationwide and internationally. According to reports, the "Brahmāstra" team will be visiting top Indian cities over the next few months while they have planned to promote the movie internationally by visiting multiple countries. It is one of the costliest films ever made in India.
Internationally, the film will be released by Disney, and this is indeed a big move by the makers to collaborate with the studio. Disney also has officially included "Brahmāstra" in its theatrical slate for the year 2022. The makers are hoping the film to get the widest release ever for an Indian title.
Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has produced the movie in association with Star Studios, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. It will hit theaters worldwide on September 9 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada in standard formats, 3D, and IMAX 3D.
The first trailer of "Brahmāstra Part 1 - Shiva" will be released on June 15.
