Manoj Bajpayee Approached To Play Police Officer's Role In Pushpa: The Rule
Hyderabad, July 20 - Versatile actor Manoj Bajpyeee, who is known for his work in films like "Gangs of Wasseypur", "Satya", and "Aligarh", among others, has reportedly been approached to play a key role in "Pushpa - The Rule". He had recently praised the Allu Arjun-starrer film "Pushpa - The Rise", calling it immaculate.
The actor had earlier said that every frame in "Pushpa: The Rise" has been shot as if it's a matter of life and death. According to the latest reports, he has been approached to play the police officer role in "Pushpa - The Rule", which is scheduled to start filming in August this year.
The film, written and directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, told the story of its titular character Pushparaj, and his rise to become a sandalwood smuggler. The action drama marked the debut of the noted Malayalam actor, Fahadh Faasil in Telugu cinema. He played the character of a corrupt cop, who will lock horns with Allu's lead character in the film's second part.
Fahadh Faasil, in a recent interview, revealed that there might be a third part of the film as well as director Sukumar has enough material to take the movie forward. An official confirmation with regards to Manoj Bajpyee's casting and "Pushpa 3" is yet to be made.
