Marvel Studios' Latest Box Office Hit 'Eternals' Sets Disney+ Premiere Date

Los Angeles, November 27 - Marvel Studios' latest superhero movie "Eternals" is playing in theaters and going strong at the box office, earning over $387 million globally. Unlike "Black Widow", which debuted in theaters and on Disney+ simultaneously, Disney promised to release the upcoming films exclusively in theaters for a minimum of 45 days.

While the Chloe Zhao-directed is minting cash at the box office, a certain group of people wondering when it will be available on the streamer. Putting the earliest possible Disney+ date, considering a minimum of 45 days in theaters from November 5, on or around December 20, 2021.



On Friday, Disney officially announced that "Eternals" will be debuting on Disney+ and Disney Plus Hotstar on January 12, 2022, 10 weeks following its theatrical run, about the same amount of time between "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" launch on the service. "Eternals" will become available for digital download on platforms like Apple TV and Prime Video once it's streaming on Disney+.

"Eternals" has been rated as an unlike Marvel film. It welcomes an exciting new team of Super-Heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The epic story, spanning thousands of years, features a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's oldest enemy, The Deviants.

It boasts an ensemble cast that includes Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Richard Madden, and Kit Harington.
