Mumbai, July 24 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's all-time blockbuster movie Indra is all set to be re-released in theatres on the occasion of the veteran superstar's 69th birthday. The movie was directed by B. Gopal and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.



Released in July 2002, Indra was a box office sensation and went on to gross over 50 crores at the worldwide box office. It was the highest-grossing South Indian film at that time and is considered one of the best commercial entertainers in Telugu cinema.





Also starring Aarthi Agarwal, Sivaji, Sonali Bendre, and Mukesh Rishi, among others, the film was dubbed and released into Tamil as Indhiran and in Hindi as Indra: The Tiger. It is one of the most-watched South Indian movies in the dubbed Hindi version on Television.
