Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Vishwambhara' Release Date Locked

Hyderabad, April 8 - Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Mallidi Vassishta have teamed up for the first time for a socio-fantasy drama film Vishwambhara. The film was announced in 2023 with the first look poster, and since then, the fans have been eagerly waiting for its release.

Vishwambhara was supposed to be released on Sankranti 2025 but was postponed due to the pending work. Now, according to the latest Telugu media report, the movie is gearing up to hit the big screens on July 24, 2025, worldwide. It is the same date on which Chiranjeevi's iconic Indra was released in 2022.



The film is produced by UV Creations and has music by M. M. Keeravani. The buzz for the movie is growing, and it is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Telugu movies of the year. Apart from Chiranjeevi, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, and Ashika Ranganath in prominent roles.

Meanwhile, apart from Vishwambhara, Chiranjeevi has also greenlit two more major films – one with Anil Ravipudi and another with Srikanth Odela. The film with Ravipudi was recently announced officially for the Sankranthi 2026 release.
