Hyderabad, December 4 - In a shocking development, veteran Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's much-awaited action drama Akhanda 2, which is scheduled to release tomorrow on December 5, has reportedly been postponed to a new date due to financial hurdles.

Since morning, reports have been going viral that producer 14 Reels Plus is facing financial issues with Eros International due to their past projects, and now the news of the postponement has come. Earlier in the days, the planned premiere shows across the country were also cancelled due to the same reason.

It is said that the makers spent a massive budget on the film by taking money from multiple financiers. However, the clearances didn't happen on time, which has caused all this trouble and forced the makers to postpone the release just a day before its theatrical debut.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is no small actor, but this is probably the first time he is facing such an issue, even though the Telugu film industry is not completely alien to such things. The timing of the postponement is not a good thing for the makers, as it might diminish the buzz around the film.
