New Release Date of Suriya's Pan India Movie 'Kanguva' Revealed Amid Postponement Rumours

Mumbai, August 25 - One of the most-awaited Pan India movies, Suriya's fantasy action drama Kanguva is reportedly on the movie, again. This hasn't been a smooth journey for Siva's directorial which has been in the making for the past 2 years.

Recently, Lyca Productions scheduled superstar Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan against Kanguva on October 10. This move led to a big shock to distributors as both movies are hugely awaited and the clash would have definitely dented their chances at the box office.



With Vettaiyan being the last to lock the October 10 release knowing all the possibilities, it led to speculations that Kanguva would be postponed to avert the clash and now, the latest reliable reports have confirmed the same. It is said that distributors want Kanguva to come solo to make the most of its potential.

While the official announcement regarding the postponement is yet to be made, it is being reported that Kanguva, produced by Studio Green, will now be released on October 31, during the Diwali weekend. It will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

Diwali weekend is a good release for the movie as far as South versions are concerned, however, it might get badly affected in Hindi version as two highly-awaited potential Bollywood blockbuster movies are scheduled to be released during the same weekend in the form of Ajay Devgn's Singham Again, and Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
